Bangkok is situated during the Chao Phraya River delta in Thailand's central simple. The river meanders throughout the city inside of a southerly course, emptying in to the Gulf of Thailand approximately twenty five kilometres (16 mi) south of town centre. The world is flat and lower-lying,
